In the game you can choose between eight different nations, each with its units and features, advantages and disadvantages. For example, the Spaniards have one of the most powerful army, the British have a great economy thanks to its settlers, the Russians have large numbers of troops and resources, etc.. But the real novelty in this regard is found in the incorporation of native tribes, which may be decisive to become a vital allies troops, and perhaps give us some resources. Just in the control of our military, is where we see one of the few ailments that we find in Age of Empires III. And is that even though the CPU is handling the thousand wonders in the heat of battle, the reactions of our armies sometimes seem paralyzed or lost, and although it is generally not serious, in many cases is being felt.

This is a great game. I played AOE 1 and 2 quite frequently in the past and it’s incredibly addictive especially playing against your friends!

The improved graphics just make it that much more fun. I think they really put some time into listening to players opinions and suggestions without changing the game play too much to keep what makes this game fun. Everyone wants to build a powerful empire from scratch. It’s pretty cool.

Great article, good review, and if you haven’t played this game you need to go out and get it.
