COUNTER STRIKE 2010: BY ELECTRONIC ARTS
Counter strike has proved to be the most successful game ever and that too not only in the history of first player shooters but that of gaming. The game is based on a very simple concept of the bad guys, i.e. terrorists and the good guys, the counter terrorists. It is a simple first person shooter and is largely played in the multiplayer mode across the globe. The game has almost become an institution with some people actually become professional gamers especially in this one. The creator, another well known name, Electronic Arts has come up with the latest version in the form of counter strike: source. Here is brief review on the newest in the CS (Counter Strike 2010) world.
THE CHANGES
Counter strike source is pretty much same as the previous versions. The Source version has borrowed the popular maps such as office, Italy, the dust maps etc. but the changes to be watched out for are in the graphics. The structures in the playing environment have been considerably improved to look much more realistic. The weapons are also the same for both the sides but then again the detailing is excellent.
The bomb defusing maps have a few subtle additions to them which will come to you as you play. The objects lying around are now more real and moveable adding to the overall life-like setup. For the pessimists who complain of the game being monotonous, there are a hell lot of mods and new maps which can be downloaded for free and add on to the features of the game altogether.
MORE ADVANCED CONFIGURATION
Counter strike 2010 has no doubt come back with a bang, but this also means that there will be extra strain on your ram and graphics controller. EA has focused on making the graphics heavier and so many details require much a more advanced system configuration to function properly.
In conclusion, Counter Strike is one game which cannot fail considering its huge fan support. This latest development has further cemented the trust in EA to deliver.

basically the graphics in CZ are a little more polished and newer looking, the guns look different, the maps look different, there are more maps, nothing major really…

Well there is a difference: when you are playing counter strike non steam version it gives you nicknames that a beginner able to use your specific nick and that can couse loosing more lifes but steam version of CS gives you an ID (steam ID) and it helps you to give you your score accurately and it might also be needed for some of the servers.

Counter strike is the best First Person Shooter PC game. Counter-Strike is a first-person shooter in which players join either the terrorist or counter-terrorist team (or become a spectator). Each team attempts to complete their mission objective and/or eliminate the opposing team. Each round starts with the two teams spawning simultaneously, usually at opposite ends of the map from each other.
This Counter Strike Shooter game has really nice interface and it is a good entertaining game.
EA is one the best game maker and this one is also one of interesting striker games and you would love to play it till the end.
Hmm, I dont think there are too many improvements bought to this version… graphics, right, but that’s not much of it. From what I see from that screenshot(if it’s from the new version)) it looks pretty much like 1.6!!! Maybe I’m mistaken…

The game that will never be erased in history, but it will just improve and improve if technology innovates. I play this game since i was in grade 5 and now im in my senior college and still playing this game. Best game ever period.
Here are some Counterstrike Tips for the weapons used in the game:
1. Knife:
Ahh, the knife. It has two different attacks, the primary attack (fast, but weak) and the secondary attack (slow, strong) So what should you use? In a knife fight, you want to deal the most damage as possible. Therefore you want to go for the UPPER BODY. For beginners, I recommend going at the upper body with the fast attack so you guarantee yourself a hit. As you get better go with the slow attack for even more damage. An addition tip: jumping toward you opponent with the knife and aiming for the head is also an effective and deadly method. If you’re jumping and your opponent is slashing at your heard, what is he going to hit? Your feet, of course, for a measly 8 pts of damage.
2. Pistols-
Don’t underestimate the power of the pistol. While it is a secondary weapon, it can save your life when you run out of ammo.

I really do not like this kind of game. but many of my friends play it. I can only see them play. but I see many differences in comparison with 2010 cs of the previous version. i see in terms of graphics and motion is good.
