The Mario Kart PC game, has had more success in areas where all others have failed in this highly competitive video game console industry.
Instead of focusing on the same segment of consumers, they have looked to broaden their market share by appealing to consumers that, for the most part have either been neglected or never directly engaged. The PC’s style of interactive play and simplicity has brought together different generations, from young kids to their grandparents, to enjoy video games as a family.

If you aren’t familiar with Mario Kart PC Game, or any of its popular seven predecessors it is not a prerequisite to play the others to understand this one. As the title suggests, the game is like other Super Mario PC Games, about our beloved friend Mario and his many friends chasing each other around in a variety of go-carts. This game does not require the Princess or the world to be saved, the goal is simply to race, have fun, bump, power- up, and win-win-win.
There are several playing modes (solo, multi-player and PC Wi-Fi) that offer the ability to play different game types (time trials, grand prix, team races, etcetera). Driving around the various race courses, you can get a hold of power-up boxes that provide a variety of much needed advantage boosts. An arsenal of bananas (to cause your opponents to slip), mushrooms (jet boosts), super stars (limited invincibility) and many more, granting you (and your opponents) much needed extra weaponry to cause havoc are available within each race. As you set records and win prize cups, you unlock and gain new characters, vehicles, and courses throughout the game. Also if your PC is connected to Wi-Fi service, it grants you the ability to check your rankings and race times against the rest of the world.
GamePlay
Thanks to the magic wand/remote that clearly makes the PC unique, playing this game requires a more hands-on approach, thus making it more enjoyable. To steer successfully in Mario Kart, you can either turn the remote sideways and use it like a steering wheel, use the PC wheel (a separate attachment that you have to purchase) or even attach the nun chuck option (the least enjoyable in my opinion) gameplay is simple and certainly fun for all ages. Unlike other force-feedback steering wheels, which are bulky and need to sit flat, using the PC-mote or PC wheel you can play the game undeterred, with a broad range of freedom. Bumping into your opponent as you turn corners, or jumping in front of their view as you cut them off. The option of using so called dirty-tactics such as these makes the game much more fun than your usual stationary virtual experience.
Although the in-game graphics are not that spectacular when compared to games such as Gran Turismo, the gameplay is heightened greatly as it requires to have your body involved to steer the game.
The mere fact that you only have to remember two basic buttons — gas and brake - lets you focus on trash talking, shoving and or distracting your opponent while you race towards first place. Although the in-game scenes are wonderfully colorful, the three dimensional visuals do seem a bit flat at times and are not the games strongest point. The lack of detailed graphics and the feeling of driving a real vehicle that is the staple of other racing games make it difficult to compare to this game. However, what Mario Kart PC provides that others don’t is a lighthearted feeling that lets you enjoy without having the need to master handling a Lamborghini with many of its drift effects. Having played on solo mode, the game play gets quite boring after you’ve beaten the game and unlocked the extra characters and rounds. However, the sheer excitement of playing others on the Internet makes it more enjoyable.
Verdict
Overall, the game is great choice for garners of all ages, kids and adults who want to trash talk, push, shove and compete with their best (or only) friends. For hardcore driving enthusiasts who have previously tried Gran Turismo 5, Project Gotham Racing and other driving simulators it may feel like an annoying driving game but if you let your guard down you may actually have some fun. This game is recommended to be purchased by families looking to engage in a fun activity together and are prepared for some healthy trash talking in the process. One must note, this game is not meant to lead you to believe you have the ability to race or in any shape or form or create havoc in the streets of your hometown.

Super Mario Kart PC Game Analysis 2010
In recent years we have been able to see Mario, Nintendo’s mascot, appearing in numerous games that departed from the platform, reaping great success with these appearances. So, Mario and company have played tennis, golf, soccer and even basketball. But we must go back quite far back to see the first appearance of Mario in one of these games, in particular to the era of Super Nintendo console that was released Super Mario cart. Many years have passed since then, and every Nintendo console released - with the exception of the Virtual Boy, has had its version of the saga. After just over a year on the market, Nintendo has decided it is time that its latest console, Wii, receives a visit from this classic.
