Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands
After being divided into two critics and the public, the Prince of Persia is finally ready to recur to the masses with a title back to the origins of the Sands of Time trilogy, leaving the setting and the gameplay of the last iteration. Exploiting the inevitable appeal of the film in theaters these days, Ubisoft offers a game that is not really a tie-in, as it related to the film by a license, but not a real new chapter in the saga, but rather, a Title fruit of work to meet the demands of enthusiasts.
Give us back Elika …

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands stands chronologically between the first and second episode of the trilogy of sand and you will once again wear the clothes of the prince, traveling to the kingdom ruled by his brother Malik. Upon his arrival, however, is the fortress besieged by an enemy army. Reached his brother fall events, as you will find that Malik intends to leave the old army in ancient sand belonged to King Solomon himself, magical force that will soon escape the control of the sovereign. We thus embark on a new adventure in a desperate attempt to save the kingdom by the owner of the sand, commanded by an evil entity named Ratash. While Malik will increasingly seduced by the charm of the power, we can count on the beautiful queen Razia, a Djinn who protects the kingdom for centuries due to its potent magic, which will give us valuable advice as well as useful magical powers to exploit during the ‘adventure.
The storyline is not memorable and unfortunately disappointing part is the characterization of the various characters which can not rely on the depth of the Prince and Elika seen in the previous episode. Razia fact there will follow throughout the adventure, but will only appear in some instances, virtually eliminating a highlight of last year, or the irresistible exchange between the two protagonists. Unsatisfactory even the cut-scenes, performing their duty but not surprising, as the dubbing in Italian.
Prince Of Persia 2010 PC Game - Prince Magician

The game setting is presented once again equally divided between fighting and platforming sections, although the one that others have been profoundly changed. The exploration has almost completely abandoned the automatic visa two years ago, bringing the player into complex environments that require both fast reflexes that the use of gray matter. While the principle underlying the various paths for which you must pass is very classic, made of jumps, walks on walls and so on, the introduction of the various magical powers which will provide Razia you give a bit ‘of freshness to these Mechanical already proven. Besides being able to rewind time, magic help to overcome their mistakes without having to reload the last chekpoint but used only a limited number of times soon learn how to control the water. This special ability allows you to freeze for a few seconds the flow of the many fountains and waterfalls that dot the levels so they can be exploited as footings or walls on which to walk. This translates in terms of gameplay settings to deal more dynamic than seen so far, because, especially in more advanced sections, you add to your normal pressure changes trigger left to be done with the right timing. That way you can make such a jet at an auction in which the attachment and then turn off the fly so free through the spell and a wall of water. Later in the game will unlock other two abilities, one that will allow you to make a long leap forward in the direction of an enemy, useful for superari ravines otherwise too broad, and another that will change the shape of the level materializing out of thin walls, beams or more. Together these three spells make the later stages of the platformer really exciting, as well as quite challenging.
Unfortunate that at this point you’re already very close to the end credits.
Prince of War - Prince of Persia 2010 PC Game Review
The combat system has suffered the same restyling, going to mix various elements introduced by the various chapters of the series. These will put you mainly against groups of enemies to face quite a lot thanks to your faithful sword. You have the ability to chain combos slashes rather elementary and interspersed with jumps and various developments, occasionally adding four spells related to many factors. Thanks to the power of the earth can make you invulnerable to attacks by covering them with a thick layer of stone, while fire and ice will allow you to inflict greater damage and finally, aided by wind power, you unleash devastating attacks in the area. You can also hurl enemies into the void, jumping on and finish with spectacular finishing moves. The indiscriminate disposal of every creature you shall appear before you will earn experience points to spend in the screen, activating the spheres arranged on a chessboard in a tree, so to take advantage of more powerful spells you have the first powered up all power of the previous level. With this system you can also lengthen the life bar is that the magic, thus introducing the series of incremental dynamic RPG implemented well but unfortunately you will not exploit all their potential in terms of gameplay. Again fact, when the battle begins to pose a real challenge and requires a good knowledge of all the dynamics implemented, you will now facing the final boss. Furthermore, the combat system makes available to the player although a number of options, not incentive never really exploit them, giving too much button mashing approach.
Prince Of Persia PC Game 2010
It is undeniable that Ubisoft has worked in the right direction of thinking from the ground up the entire system of play, making Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands a fun way to play through the complex phases of the platformer and a combat system that manages to entertain allowing evolution complex and satisfying putting up a Prince really awesome, but does not exploit its potential duty to end right at the climax. If you consider that player to the maximum level of difficulty, namely normal, the way we finished in about six hours scarce, it is unclear how the title is almost severed in half. A slightly prolonged the life of the product we think a challenge mode where you can tackle waves of enemies, unlockable at the end of the game, along with a little surprise dedicated to lovers of Assassin’s Creed.
Put an Anvil in the Engine
As most already know, Prince of Persia 2010 (PC): The Forgotten Sands abandons the beautiful cel shading in the previous chapter, to return to a style closer to the series of the Sands of Time. The use of Anvil graphics engine, already seen in action in both Assassin’s Creed and last Prince of Persia, allowed developers to create high-impact locations both in terms of style from that of game design. Play of light and particle effects assorted scenes finish really well done, as well as good management of natural guarantees some spectacular sequences. Unfortunately we can not say the same characters, especially the protagonist, but rather weak in discrete models and movements in general in character design, this chapter really uninspired.
Excellent audio segment, although the scores that will accompany you to submit themselves a little creative charge.
Final Remarks Prince Of Persia 2010 Game
Prince of Persia PC Game 2010: The Forgotten Sands is a platform able to have some fun and interesting idea. His biggest fault is to tease the player by giving it intriguing and well implemented skill-level gameplay, then put risicatissimo prematurely before a final movie. Moreover, the aesthetic industry, although it defends very well, can only pale in comparison to the majesty of the last iteration. Ultimately, a chapter that will appeal to fans of the series if they are able to tolerate the weak points, but too limited to make his mark. The hope is that good ideas are sketched out in this incarnation thrash out the next episode of the new saga began two years ago.

Yeah. I thnk that is the best aventute games!
I love this game and I have played it again and again and still I want to play it. Its so amazing experience. I am also awaiting the movie of the same name. Exclusive video game Prince of Persia on Yahoo! Games. Exclusive interview with the producer of Prince of Persia where the first reveals.
i have already play this game at my Nokia N-Gage. I have to try PC version
Dastan will be aware that the army simply to imprison again bring together the two pieces of the medallion, but Malik seems to have changed, in fact, protected by his half of the medallion will continue to eliminate soldiers to absorb energy thanks to the medallion .
After the death of Ratash, Malik absorb his powers a person becoming ever more diverse than that the prince knew well to explain Razia Malik prince who unfortunately died when they gave the coup de grace to Ratash and now Malik is only a shell that will soon generate a new form of Ratash.
Between new powers and waves of enemies, the Prince will have to reach the tomb of King Solomon where the hidden entrance to the city of Jinn who hides a sword to eliminate forever Ratash … unfortunately, to save the world, will get off to a hard compromise Ratsh kill is to kill his brother!
But already heard a story that enriches the saga of the prince, the game will be interspersed with short films that tell the story slowly developments that revolve around these four characters only (Dastan, Razia, Malik and Ratash). Although the story is not the strong point of the title, he managed to carve itself a large part in the experience of giving a nice adventure game from the Arabian Nights.
Prince of Persia: The Sands forget - Review
The review of Prince of Persia the Sands forget that sees the return of Prince of Persia in good shape!
Prince of Persia: The Sands Forget, a new series title that will reveal a history of “forgotten”, in fact, set between the end of the first chapter, The Sands of Time and the second chapter, Warrior.
We have prepared the Games of flying carpets and are ready to offer this trip to the nights of the East’s most popular gaming scene!
After the latest chapter in the Prince, Ubisoft has decided to give us an interlude in the first saga POP The Sands Forget it takes place shortly after the end of the first chapter on PS2.
In this new title we will get the Prince Dastan in the city of his brother, Malik, so I can teach him how to rule a kingdom, but Malik’s empire is besieged by an enemy army ready to destroy the entire city just to conquer the territory.
Driven by desperation, Malik decided to leave the Army of Solomon so that he can help defend his kingdom, the problem is that the army was not to Solomon but against Solomon, so the kingdom Malik unleashes an even bigger disaster: the ‘Army, expands grain in grain of turning into pillars of sand every inhabitant of the kingdom, and Malik Dastan except that they had collected the 2 parts of the medallion used to imprison the army.
The principles then decided to close the gates to halt for the moment the problem of the spread of the army, but after closing the door, our heroes are separated by a wave of enemies that pushes Dastan in an area of unknown city, where the strange portal to a world of magic and dreams fading fact.
Surprised by this new world, the knowledge of good will Dastan Razia that will reveal that this is the world of Jinn and now, with the participation of Dastan, is threatened by the army and the Jinn who is in his command, Ratash, a huge red demon that wants to destroy the world (as usual) and revenge on the other Jinn and Solomon who had imprisoned.
This new adventure of the prince is set entirely in a big city, the reign of Malik, unfortunately the monotony of the environment is already receiving a few hours of game where, while changing area that is for example moving from the throne room aqueduct , or roof gardens to the cloaca, the setting often remains unchanged with the usual walls, the usual carpets and the usual statues will continue to be throughout the game except in some area that will more often empty and desolate. Leaving the setting, the few characters in the game are kept and colorful as the colorful dress of the prince’s brother, but unfortunately sin in some animations: there will often, especially in areas where you have to avoid swinging blade traps or the like of see Prince climb over the void, as if there was an auction to jump.
These little bugs they find throughout the adventure and, at times, compel you to reload deal checkpoint.
This adventure of POPs is a real return to the origin on all fronts, as well as inventing a new story to be included in the old trilogy, it seems that the technical and graphic industry have returned to their origins, with a design that fails to live up to even the last chapter of POPs released for next-generation consoles, this short trip to Persia video play most beloved of all time has not left us very happy showing thin and repetitive environments and providing a title with a graphic under the expectations but overall still enjoyable to watch.
The gameplay of this POP is very linear, I would say too much, in fact, you happen to often times when you will know what will happen in the next room.
One could say that the gameplay of the game is structured in the rooms which will continue to cross. This constant succession of these rooms will put in front of a room in which to address a platform section, where a fight and then make the link between these rooms there will always be a hallway littered with traps that will bring you to a new area, much like the previous but with some small change.
To handle the gameplay of the game comes in fact the figure of Raiz, the beautiful water Jinn, who met every few rooms via the portal to the world evanescent.
This world, which then consists of three floating platforms, will serve as a resting place and where to get new powers as the ability to block the water, one of the innovative elements of the saga and allow the Prince to hold on to jets ‘water as if they were wooden poles, the capacity of the football in flight, another innovative feature that will lead the prince to be able to jump from a ledge and teleport to the next ledge as long as there is an enemy by kicking, and the ability to revive remember, last innovative power of the saga in which the prince will be able to “relive the memories” in the true sense of the word in specific areas will see some parts of the scenario transparent, just press a button to “remind” those areas and to use it to continue.
These three powers are mixed with wisdom from developers who can create perfect places where to use the powers of the prince in turn giving the player an enjoyable experience platform.
“Oops, I missed a foothold, and now??”
Never fear, even in this chapter will be the inevitable tides of time, or rather, the waters of time, other powers conferitovi by Raize, which will work exactly like the old sands, that will allow Dastan to go back in time whenever a commit error or bring the prince to die.
To use the waters of time you can just hold down a key, but this will require a sacrifice of blue balls that you check under the life bar will be red instead.
The blue and red balls can be restored by eliminating enemies or breaking the pots in each game area.
During the adventure we will often have to deal with the Army that will be tougher than ever, but the only brute force accompanied by a poorly calibrated AI will make every battle, even against bosses, monotonous and extremely simple.
The soldiers are different, because you are able to generate other soldiers, armored soldiers, to be destroyed only with strong attacks, soldiers with the shield, which must be calculated so as to lose the defense shield, and soldiers giants (Golem) will be the typical big and stupid that you will make enemies out in a few minutes.
The Prince will have a development system that will work with the experience you get by eliminating enemies or find hidden sarcophagi (21 overall).
“Hooray! Then there are the combo! ”
Unfortunately it is not correct, the only combo that Prince will do the same will be the beginning of the adventure, although you can use various spells to unlock the Reinforcement Menu, can not concatenate these spells with the combo of sword that can only be combined with jumps of Prince: jumping to head to an enemy, it is possible to throw on him a blow air, pushing an enemy into a wall instead, then a quick cut-scenes where the prince will eliminate the opponent by pinning him against the wall the sword.
In addition to spells, which are among the most monotonous never seen as the trail of fire to strike the enemies chasing you, the ability to freeze, the armor of land that protects you from their attacks and a bomb that will hit air enemies surrounding you, you can enhance the lives of Dastan, add extra blue balls to the magic of time or simply enhance the effectiveness of the attacks.
Unlike the old Pop PS3 and Xbox 360, this title will be one way, then there’ll never go back on our feet after unlocking a new area, the game runs in a single direction from start to finish robbing the player sense of freedom that had been used from the old POP.
The gameplay of the new POP is extremely straightforward and lacking in innovation, but they can entertain the player, thanks to the excellent platforming sections and a few scattered puzzle game, unfortunately the combat system and review by the monotony of the great fights and a total lack of combos.
LOSING THE PRINCE HITS
Music: 7.8 - The Audio segment of the game stands out particularly but knows accompany the adventure without falling into monotony. One point more for dubbing into Italian.
Graphics: 7.1 The fund-graph turns out to be one of two major flaws of the game, making the adventure because of the monotonous scenery too similar and some defect in the animations that pass by unnoticed.
Gameplay: 8 - The adventure lets you play any type of player with pleasant platforming sections interspersed with boring and monotonous battles that take the player to defeat a slew of enemies with the same unique combos available.
Longevity: 7 - Complete the story in even eight hours, but thanks to the hidden coffins, the 40 targets / trophies and challenge mode in which to challenge a real tide of enemies you can lift a few hours the replayability.
Final Rating: 7.5 / 10
The new adventure of the prince certainly stands out for its originality and who expected a return to the origins with the flakes will be quite disappointed by this new chapter that seems to be a game created to be sold due to the reputation of the series and the upcoming movie more than for the beauty of the game itself. We note, however, some good ideas of the developers have created sections platform fun to play but unfortunately are interspersed with boring fighting continued from one combo and some power that you will do without.
Perhaps by continuing saga of the Prince on the other series out previously on next-generation, things were different, but the return to the past there has convinced many leave our hands a title that will be soon forgotten by fans of Dastan and which is a game to spend a few hours but not a must-have at all.
