Virtua Tennis 3 gives you 3 different options for playing. A Career Mode,
Tournament Mode and Exhibition Mode. Career Mode is where VT3 really shines. You compete in a calendar year playing in tournaments with stunning realism of the actual courts, including clay, grass and hard courts.
Career Mode also allows you to build up your 
skills with a Tennis Academy and Tennis Skill Games, which I found to be extremely fun. In this Mode, you create your own Profile and Character and tailor your player from body and face type all the way to the clothes you want to wear. As you advance throughout your Career you will get more clothes, more accessories and better playing abilities.
I must state once again that the 3D graphics are purely amazing. Every
detail was thought out in this game, from running to players racket swings and players reactions. The stadiums and courts look incredible, and the Instant Replays and Cut Scenes are jaw dropping effects. Also, you have the ability to change the screen size to match the newer Widescreen LCD Monitors which gives you a stellar view while playing.

Definitely looks great.Like NFS in racing,FIFA 09 in football,its Virtua Tennis 3 in Tennis and would surely be loved by millions of computer savvy tennis lovers
Haven’t played yet.But,the pictures look very much appealing and the presence of career and tournament mode can surely tempt anyone.
I was never into tennis games myself but this one does look kinda cool! The idea that you can play the calendar year sounds appealing.

i have played only one version of tennis old one that use to come in video games and i was champion but this new version will be interesting i am gonna try for sure. Thanx for such good game
Cool, i love playing Tennis as much as playing it in real life. The game sounds pretty fun, hopefully I will be better in game than in real life.
So bad I am not into tennis! I would love it even more if it is soccer, basketball or karatedo. Those are the sports I seem to ahve close encounter with…. But all the same, something as good as this should be promoted and appreciated.

This game is simply beautiful and very good to play. The faces of the players are well made, tournaments and training range. What fun! Otherwise it is a pity that we can not see our statistics (or I’m wrong) in general during our career (World Tour): number of hits, many faults, many tournaments won in singles and doubles … But otherwise I recommend to you, fans of tennis, to try!

I am not aware or knowledgeable of tennis games but maybe if I try to play it here i’d learn better.. This is also a good way to learn aside from playing strictly.. ^^
Hmm..the graphics look way better here than wii tennis. That’s all that I have at home. Well my son has Xbox.

Sega has announced Virtua Tennis 2009 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in May 2009, a new version of its sports saga.
We may thus face players like Nadal, Federer, Sharapova or Williams, recreating classic games.
