World of Warcraft by Blizzard Entertainment has captured the hearts of many since it was released in 1994. With the latest expansion release - The wrath of Lich King on 13th Nov 2008, Blizzard has one again reaffirmed the status of WOW as one of the most popular online game for all.
In this latest expansion hit existing players have many new areas unlocked to them. Another 10 levels are added and players can hone their skills and build up experience till a new cap of Level 80. This is great if you are into playing multi-player dungeon raids as you may be able to pick up many gems from these challenges. The graphics and scenery of the unlocked area is simply stunning giving adding on to both the visual and stereo pleasure gamers receive while engaged in the game. 
Leveling a character is much faster and you can get your mount now at level 40 making it easier to build up alts. You get to try out the new character Death knight when your existing character reaches level 55.
I haven’t had much time to check out the latest expansion but have spent countless hours on the previous release -The Burning Crusade. I find that it is a very engaging game as you play with online gamers across different continents, get to join guilds and go on group missions. If you are in a very active guild, fellow guild members are more then willing to help you to level up your characters fast so that there will be more guild members Kara enabled. There are so many different characters which you can create and worlds which you can visit to level up. Chosing Horde or Alliance will also set you on different paths. 
The choices that you can make for your character are endless and you can choose the 2 major trade skills that they can develop alongside leveling. You can make as unique a character as you wish with the multiple choices which you are given.
My main character in the game is a Level 80 Paladin who also is a Miner and Jewelcrafter. The professions that I chose for my Paladin is based on its needs to upgrade his own armor in later levels. 
This is one of the online games that I truly enjoyed for its interactivity and ability to carry out both solo missions and group missions to level up depending on your own playing schedule. It is one game that is truly very addictive. I also found this site funny for WOW fans.

love World of Warcraft, it has great graphics good sound is addictive and is FUN!
You can get be addicted with this game, really you losing your social life. I played this game for long time and became without friends, presonal life and at least I found that this game bored me at end. Same circle after new updates,new expansion disc, keeping be better then others, gonna get your spirit. It’s up to you what you prefer, life or sitting in home with this game.

I’m personally not crazy about WOW, but I think it’s mainly because so many people I know are. And when I say that they’re into it, I mean they’re INTO IT. Without a doubt, it’s a testament to the quality of the game. I think it redefines the definition of addiction.
I love WoW. I’m actually alt-tabbed out of it while I’m commenting here. I have several characters including an 80 blood elf hunter on Cho’Gall. I’m currently leveling my alliance lock on Bleeding Hollow. She is going to be skinning and tailoring.

My girlfriend had been playing this one for a while though, so one day she decided to just pick up another copy for me so I could give it a try. Reluctantly, I decided to play it for a few minutes so I could say “see, it sucks, just like all the other ones!”. But I haven’t gotten to that yet, because I am still playing! My character just reached level 20 (after just over a week), and I am hooked!

Sorry to say but it started with Warcraft, not World of Warcraft,
Warcraft was the first version, followed up with more warcraft games and in the end World of Warcraft
Strategy game….i am not fan of strategy games…but this review made me to explore this game……….
